Volleyball Game Preview: Summit SkyHawks vs. Bloomington Bruins

Summit has gone a perfect 4-0 against Bloomington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The SkyHawks will be playing at home against the Bruins at 5:15 p.m. Summit is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Summit extended their road winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Christian Salivio. The SkyHawks blew past Eisenhower 3-0 on Wednesday with plenty of help from Salivio, who had 27 digs and two aces. Salivio is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least ten every time he's taken the court this season.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Bloomington was able to grind out a solid win over Arroyo Valley on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

Bloomington has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Summit, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.

Summit beat Bloomington 3-1 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Will the SkyHawks repeat their success, or do the Bruins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
