Urbana had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Monticello Sages a 5-0 shutout. Given Urbana's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Monticello are ranked 337th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
