Volleyball Recap: Wayne Trace Raiders vs. Fairview Apaches        
        
		
             If Wayne Trace was riding high  fresh off their  3-0 takedown of Jefferson last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wayne Trace Raiders fell  3-1 to the Fairview Apaches on Tuesday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Apaches recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
 Wayne Trace started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-12, 25-19,  25-11.
 Fairview found their leader in underclassman  Liberty Vogelsong, who  had 15  digs and three  aces. Those three  aces set a new season-high mark for  Vogelsong.
 Wayne Trace's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-11. As for Fairview, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the  victory, which was their tenth straight  on the road.
 Wayne Trace will head out to  challenge Ayersville  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Wayne Trace is facing Ayersville at the right time seeing as Ayersville is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Fairview, they will host Hicksville  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
