Preview: Bethel Bees vs. Arcanum Trojans
Bethel is 0-7 against Arcanum since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bethel Bees will stay at home for another game and welcome the Arcanum Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th. Bethel will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 570th, while Arcanum is ranked 185th).
Bethel's 20-5 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They received a tough blow on Saturday as they fell 38-20 to Milton-Union.
Meanwhile, Arcanum scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. Everything went their way against Preble Shawnee as Arcanum made off with a 65-44 victory. That looming 65-44 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Arcanum yet this season.
Bethel's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Arcanum, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Things could have been worse for Bethel, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 62-45 loss to Arcanum in their previous meeting back in December of 2020.
