Roseau unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Barnesville Trojans 52-19 on Thursday. The Rams have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Looking ahead, Roseau will head out to take on Staples-Motley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Barnesville, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Pelican Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
