Football Recap: Miami Beach Takes a Loss

Miami Beach fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Coral Park on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 19-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coral Park Rams. The Hi-Tides have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The critical scores for Coral Park came from Ana Bodie, Sade Estrada, and Mellanie Diaz.

Miami Beach now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Coral Park, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miami Beach will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hebrew Academy at 3:30 p.m. on April 7th. After each having a week off, Coral Park and South Miami will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field one another at 3:00 p.m. on April 3rd.
