Soccer Game Preview: Charles Wright vs. South Whidbey

The Charles Wright Tarriers will face off against the South Whidbey Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Charles Wright lost 6-1 to Chimacum on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for Charles Wright in their meetings with Chimacum: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when South Whidbey challenged Klahowya on Saturday. Neither the Falcons nor the Eagles could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked South Whidbey's first draw of the season.

South Whidbey's draw makes their record 0-6-1 this season. As for Charles Wright, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
