Softball Recap: Florence Comes Up Short

Florence lost to Clinton last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles lost 17-2 to the Arrows. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Callie Anderson made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

Florence now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Clinton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Florence will venture away from home to challenge Brandon at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Clinton, they will welcome Hernando at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
