Basketball Game Preview: Hillsdale Falcons vs. Chippewa Chipps

Hillsdale hasn't had much luck against Chippewa recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Hillsdale Falcons just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Chippewa Chipps at 7:00 p.m. Hillsdale will be strutting in after a victory while Chippewa will be coming in after a defeat.

Hillsdale is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest win since February 15, 2024 on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 47-26 margin over South Central. The Falcons didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, Chippewa unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a blow against Archbishop Hoban, falling 77-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Chipps have suffered since December 20, 2023.

Chippewa's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for Hillsdale, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-12.

Hillsdale was dealt a bruising 56-12 loss at the hands of Chippewa in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Hillsdale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
