Soccer Recap: St. Croix Central Triumphs

St. Croix Central's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hayward Hurricanes, sneaking past 2-1. St. Croix Central have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Hayward, too.

Jonathan Macas and Edwin Tene scored both of St. Croix Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

St. Croix Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Hayward, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, St. Croix Central will face off against Somerset at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hayward, they will square off against Barron at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
