Recap: Lewisburg Patriots vs. Southaven Chargers
Even though the Southaven Chargers scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, the Lewisburg Patriots still came out on top. Lewisburg came out on top in a nail-biter against Southaven and snuck past 57-55.
Southaven lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jhordan Shivers, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cael Jones, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Lewisburg's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Southaven, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewisburg will play host again and welcome North Panola, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Panola has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 491 points over their last seven contests. Southaven will be home for the holidays to greet Olive Branch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
