Basketball Game Preview: Sebastian River Sharks vs. West Shore Wildcats

The Sebastian River Sharks will challenge the West Shore Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sebastian River will be strutting in after a win while West Shore will be coming in after a loss.

Sebastian River will head into Thursday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 38) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged John Carroll Catholic out 52-49.

Meanwhile, West Shore came up short against Palm Bay on Friday and fell 57-50. The Wildcats have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Sebastian River is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for West Shore, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Everything came up roses for Sebastian River against West Shore when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 60-25 victory. Will Sebastian River repeat their success, or does West Shore have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
