Americas is a perfect 3-0 against Bel Air since October of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Trail Blazers will welcome the Highlanders at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Americas lost 68-47 to El Dorado on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (34), the Trail Blazers still had to take the loss.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Camron Johnson and Ryan Estrada. Estrada had a great game and rushed for 321 yards and six TDs while picking up 14.6 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Johnson was balling out in the loss, rushing for 260 yards and four scores while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, and also picking up 81 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Bel Air was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 49-33 bruising from Parkland.

Americas will have to contain Angel Dominguez as he made an impact in Bel Air's last game. He rushed for 136 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 254 yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Marquette Beard, who picked up 170 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Americas' loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Bel Air, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Everything came up roses for Americas against Bel Air in their previous matchup back in October, as the team secured a 62-0 win. Will the Trail Blazers repeat their success, or do the Highlanders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
