Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Christian School Takes a Loss

Bloomfield Christian School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 36-21 bruising from the Livingston Christian Falcons. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Defenders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-18 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Bloomfield Christian School still got an impressive performance from Lucy Barnes, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. Bloomfield Christian School is 2-1 when Barnes posts eight or more boards, but 4-5 otherwise.

Bloomfield Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Livingston Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Bloomfield Christian School has already played their next contest, a 38-2 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 23rd. As for Livingston Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 62-41 defeat against Washtenaw Christian Academy on the 21st.
