Cimarron hasn't had much luck against Magdalena recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Steers at 2:00 p.m. Cimarron is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season.

Cimarron managed to slip by Grady the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams lost 14-4 to the Bronchos on Thursday.

Andrew Gonzales made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Rickie Aguilar, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Magdalena made sure to put some runs up on the board against Logan on Friday. The Steers were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Longhorns. The Steers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by ten runs or more this season.

Magdalena has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Cimarron, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.

Cimarron might still be hurting after the 9-2 loss they got from Magdalena in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
