Volleyball Recap: Grain Valley Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Grain Valley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Nixa. For Grain Valley, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory Nixa walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Grain Valley got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-27, 25-23.

Maddox Dresslaer paced Grain Valley's offense, picking up 22 kills. Dresslaer got some help from Jordan Jackson and his 17 assists.

Grain Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for Nixa, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Grain Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against North Point on the 12th. As for Nixa, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Seckman on the 12th.
