Volleyball Recap: Gilroy Comes Up Short

Gilroy lost to Mt. Pleasant back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Cardinals. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Gilroy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-18.

Gilroy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-5.

Gilroy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Gunderson on the 23rd. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Lincoln on the 23rd.
