Soccer Game Preview: Ford vs. Caddo Mills

Ford is 0-10 against Caddo Mills since February of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. The Panthers will look to defend their home pitch against the Foxes at 6:00 p.m. This will be Ford's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Ford turned things around against Life Oak Cliff last Thursday. Neither they nor the Lions could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Ford's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Caddo Mills kept a clean sheet against Wills Point on Friday. They blew past the Tigers 5-0. Considering Caddo Mills have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Wills Point from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Caddo Mills' victory bumped their record up to 7-2-2. Ford's draw gives them a new season record of 1-5-1.

Ford suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Caddo Mills in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
