Basketball Recap: Pine Grove Takes a Loss

Pine Grove lost against Falkner last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pine Grove Panthers took a 61-43 bruising from the Falkner Eagles. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pine Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Falkner, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Pine Grove Panthers take on the Houlka Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pine Grove is facing Houlka at the right time seeing as Houlka is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Falkner, they will welcome Myrtle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
