Volleyball Recap: Calhoun Takes a Loss

Calhoun lost against Jefferson back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 2-1. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gracison Saylors paced Calhoun's offense, picking up 16 kills. Saylors got some help from Addie Hite and her 15 assists. Lilly Hayward and Chloe Edens kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Jefferson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Calhoun wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sandy Creek on the 16th. As for Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Oconee County on the 16th.
