Softball Recap: Kearsarge Takes a Loss

Kearsarge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raymond Rams.

Emma Dubaere 2027 made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those runs were her first of the season. Naimah Wilson 2027 was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Kearsarge's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Raymond, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kearsarge will square off against Monadnock at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Huskies have averaged an impressive 11 runs per game this season. As for Raymond, they will face off against Prospect Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
