Football Recap: Knox Central Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Knox Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 34-31 win over the Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs on Friday.

Knox Central picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Hazard, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Knox Central will host McCreary Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.6 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
