Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Charles). Everything went their way against the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs on Monday as they made off with a 19-1 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

St. Charles pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

St. Charles didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 22-1 win against Fillmore Central/Lanesboro on the 22nd. As for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 18-0 defeat against Cotter on the 22nd.
