Basketball Recap: Adelson Takes a Loss

Adelson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 49-33 bruising from the Founders Classical Academy Centurions. Adelson was not able to make up for their defeat to Founders Classical Academy from their previous meeting back in February.

Leading Founders Classical Academy to victory were Evan Bruning and Adam Bruning. Evan posted 16 points and seven rebounds, while Adam almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. Nick Mazza was another key player, putting up seven points.

Adelson's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Founders Classical Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Lake Mead Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Founders Classical Academy will head out to face Lake Mead Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Adelson will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
