Baseball Preview: West Clermont Wolves vs. Milford Eagles
The West Clermont Wolves will head out on the road to square off against the Milford Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
West Clermont is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Fairmont just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Firebirds by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, West Clermont's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
West Clermont got a good showing from Chris Stahos, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

West Clermont has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Milford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.2. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
