Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Wood Comes Up Short

Archbishop Wood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the George Washington Eagles.

Archbishop Wood's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Archbishop Wood will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on La Salle College at 4:00 p.m. on April 7. As for George Washington, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Northeast at 3:15 p.m. This will be George Washington's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
