Sherman extended their home winning streak to 11 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Emma Russell. The Tide were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Richwood Lumberjacks on Tuesday for which the team can thank Russell, who had 15 assists and three aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more assists the last 11 times she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sherman took every set by at least 19 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-6, 25-3.

Sherman's win bumped their record up to 22-8-1. As for Richwood, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Sherman has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Greater Beckley Christian on the 30th. Richwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
