             Mars has been on the road for two straight, but  on Friday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the McKeesport Tigers  at 7:00  p.m. Both  are strolling into their  matches after big wins in their previous games.
 If Mars beats McKeesport with 42  points on Friday, it's going to be the  squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two  contests with that exact score. Mars took their  matchup on the road  on Friday with ease, bagging  a  42-7 win over Knoch. That 35 point margin sets a new team best for the Fightin' Planets this season.
 It was another big night for  Eric Kasperowicz, who rushed for 254 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 102.9  rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was  Gabe Hein, who gained 134 total yards and a touchdown.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Mars was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 394  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile,  everything went McKeesport's way against West Mifflin on Friday as McKeesport made off with  a  40-20 victory. Considering the Tigers have won three games by more than 19  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Mars' win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for McKeesport, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record  this season.
