Soccer Game Preview: Skyridge vs. American Fork

For the first time this season, Skyridge will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Friday. They will be playing at home against the American Fork Cavemen at 5:15 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Skyridge narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Mountain Crest 3-2.

Meanwhile, American Fork put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Sky View with a sharp 4-1 win. Lewis Knecht was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Skyridge's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three matches. As for American Fork, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
