Softball Recap: Dresden Wins Going Away Against Gleason

While Dresden put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Gleason. The Lions were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Bulldogs. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Dresden got a massive performance out of Allyssa Wilson, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those four runs gave Wilson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Summer Di Pietro, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.

Dresden always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive matchups.

Dresden's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Gleason, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Dresden will take on Union City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gleason, they will be playing at home against Fulton County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are facing the Pilots at the right time seeing as the Pilots are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
