Volleyball Recap: Lansing Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Lansing waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Basehor-Linwood Bobcats by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lansing never let Basehor-Linwood on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13.

Avery Sands paced Lansing's offense, picking up 13 kills. Sands got some help from Brooklyn Andrews and her 22 assists. Sands was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lansing's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Basehor-Linwood, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Lansing didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Blue Valley Southwest on the 4th. As for Basehor-Linwood, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Wamego on the 1st.
