Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sherman Oaks CES walked away with it. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 66-0 win over the USC Hybrid Trojans. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Daniel Truong had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 148 yards and three TDs on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another player making a difference was William Arias, who threw for 145 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Sherman Oaks CES was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 352 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 247 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.

Another reason for the win was Sherman Oaks CES' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Nick Fuss and Jacob Ashikian, who racked up four sacks between them. Fuss is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least seven every time he's taken the field this season.

Sherman Oaks CES' record is now 10-0. As for USC Hybrid, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Sherman Oaks CES will square off against East Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Truong and Ramon Palafox. USC Hybrid does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
