Soccer Game Preview: Robinson vs. La Vega

Robinson is 1-9 against La Vega since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rockets will venture away from home to face off against the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Robinson's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Marlin by a score of 2-0. Robinson haven't had any issues with Marlin recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, La Vega got the win against Meyer on Friday by a conclusive 8-0. It was an even better day for Angel Cervantes Calvillo as he scored three goals for his team.

Robinson's record is now 12-0. As for La Vega, their record now sits at 13-1.

Robinson couldn't quite get it done against La Vega in their previous matchup back in February of 2025 as they fell 3-1. Can the Rockets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
