North Clayton has gone 6-1 against Cedar Grove recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The North Clayton Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Cedar Grove Saints at 12:00 p.m. North Clayton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

Last Tuesday, everything went North Clayton's way against Mt. Zion as North Clayton made off with a 42-21 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cedar Grove played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Luella 62-25. The Saints were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-8.

Despite the defeat, Cedar Grove saw an underclassman step up: freshman M. McCutcheon posted 11 points. McCutcheon is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

Cedar Grove dropped their record down to 11-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for North Clayton, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.

North Clayton was able to grind out a solid win over Cedar Grove when the teams last played back in January, winning 61-51. Will North Clayton repeat their success, or does Cedar Grove have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
