Baseball Recap: Center Hill Triumphs

Grenada typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Center Hill proved too difficult a challenge. They never let the Chargers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.

Not much got past Cooper McCool, who gave up just six hits to keep Grenada off the board. McCool also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Center Hill is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-10 otherwise.

Center Hill's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Grenada, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-8 record.

Center Hill will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Chargers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
