Basketball Game Preview: Red Lion Christian Academy Lions vs. MOT Charter Mustangs

The Red Lion Christian Academy Lions will venture away from home to face off against the MOT Charter Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. MOT Charter took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Red Lion Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.

If Red Lion Christian Academy beats MOT Charter with 50 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Red Lion Christian Academy strolled past Delmarva Christian with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 50-32. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Delaware basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Royals are ranked 132nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, MOT Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 57-24 defeat at the hands of Delaware Military Academy.

The win made it two in a row for Red Lion Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 9-4. As for MOT Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Red Lion Christian Academy strolled past MOT Charter when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 47-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for Red Lion Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
