Basketball Recap: Monday's Win Is Cornerstone Christian's 11th in Last 12 Outings

Cornerstone Christian had won five straight road games dating back to last season and Benjamin Lukacs did his part to make it six on Monday. The Cornerstone Christian Cougars skirted past the Heritage Patriots 66-64 thanks in part to Lukacs, who posted 30 points. He has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last ten times he's played.

Another player making a difference was TS Drayden, who scored three points and four steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Heritage lost, don't look at Jace Bernard. Despite the final result, he earned 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Grube, who put up 12 points.

Cornerstone Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Heritage, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Cornerstone Christian has already played their next contest (against College Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Heritage didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-56 loss against Liberty on the 21st.
