Soccer Game Preview: Brookside vs. Columbia

Brookside hasn't had much luck against Columbia recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Cardinals will host the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Brookside is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Wellington an 11-0 shutout on Saturday. Brookside haven't had any issues with Wellington recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Columbia made easy work of Valley Forge on Monday and carried off a 6-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Columbia, who have now won six contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Columbia's win bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for Brookside, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
