Basketball Recap: Miami Springs Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Miami Springs can now relate to. They took a hard 30-14 fall against the Carol City Chiefs on Tuesday. If the Golden Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 71-42 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Leading Carol City to victory were Trenia Baker and Dalihia Lamey. Baker posted ten points, while Lamey scored nine points.

Miami Springs is on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9. As for Carol City, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-8 record.

Miami Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Carol City has already played their next game (against Monsignor Pace), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
