Not much got past Bria Rensberger, who gave up just two hits and racked up 17 Ks to keep Bremen off the board. Rensberger has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Aubrey Wilson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Miller, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Meanwhile, Northfield can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past Caston 13-6.
Emma Warnock made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Warnock was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Millie Higgins was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Kirsten Rife was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

Rochester's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Northfield, their record is now 2-4.
Northfield's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Rochester has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Northfield, though, as they've been averaging 11.7 hits. Given Rochester's sizable advantage in that area, the Norsemen will need to find a way to close that gap.
Rochester took their victory against Northfield when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 14-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Zebras since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
