Football Game Preview: Bear Creek Bruins vs. West Wolfpack + How To Watch

The Bear Creek Bruins will head out on the road to face off against the West Wolfpack at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. West took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Bear Creek, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Bear Creek got the win against Franklin by a conclusive 47-26. The Bruins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Jeremiah Robertson, who rushed for 117 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. Bear Creek is 2-1 when Robertson posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jalen Mcgee, who picked up 38 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against Tokay, falling 62-8.

The victory made it two in a row for Bear Creek and bumps their season record up to 3-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 26 points in those games. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Bear Creek couldn't quite get it done against West in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 41-30. Thankfully for the Bruins, Jamani Hampton (who rushed for 268 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
