Basketball Recap: Granville Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Granville Christian Academy lost against Utica back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Granville Christian Academy fell 60-49 to the Utica Redskins. Granville Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Granville Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Utica, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-15 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granville Christian Academy will head out to take on Newark Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Utica, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Heath at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Utica knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Heath likes a good challenge.
