Basketball Game Preview: Mission Eagles vs. Roma Gladiators

The Mission Eagles will head out to challenge the Roma Gladiators at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Friday, Mission was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-48 to Martin. The Eagles have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Roma can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 49-29 margin over Juarez-Lincoln.

Mission now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Roma, their win bumped their record up to 5-15.

Mission came up short against Roma when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 36-30. Can Mission avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
