Basketball Recap: Kellis Comes Up Short

Kellis lost against Paradise Valley back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Kellis Cougars took a 61-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paradise Valley Trojans. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kellis now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Paradise Valley, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Kellis Cougars challenge the Willow Canyon Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Willow Canyon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 74.3 points per game this season. As for Paradise Valley, they will challenge Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Horizon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests.
