Basketball Recap: Uxbridge Skates Past Quaboag Regional with Ease

Uxbridge was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Quaboag Regional on Friday. The Uxbridge Spartans breezed by the Quaboag Regional Cougars to the tune of 59-27. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

Uxbridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Darren Oliver, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rogan Devlin, who earned nine points.

Uxbridge is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.4 points. As for Quaboag Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Uxbridge will face off against Nipmuc Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Nipmuc Regional will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Uxbridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Quaboag Regional, they will square off against Mahar Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
