Football Recap: North Posey Piles Up the Points Against Pike Central

With a playoff win on the line, North Posey rose to the challenge on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 50-6 victory over the Pike Central Chargers. The Vikings' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

North Posey's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bret Buecher, who rushed for 150 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries. Camden Clowers did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 43 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: North Posey was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 303 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2024.

North Posey's record now sits at 7-3. As for Pike Central, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
