Lexington came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Davis Wolves, falling 12-1. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Lexington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Johnson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Lexington now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Davis, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

While Lexington had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
