Soccer Game Preview: King's Academy vs. Benjamin

The King's Academy Lions will square off against the Benjamin Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. King's Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

King's Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Oxbridge Academy 3-2. The final result isn't all that surprising considering King's Academy's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 125th, while Oxbridge Academy are ranked 358th).

Michael Ahearn and Malachi Kelly scored all three of King's Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Benjamin made sure to put some goals up on the board against Cardinal Newman on Friday. They put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 4-0 victory. That looming 4-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Benjamin yet this season.

King's Academy's record now sits at 11-6. As for Benjamin, their record is now 6-7-1.
