Scurry-Rosser posted their closest win since March 9th on Tuesday. They skirted past the Palmer Bulldogs 4-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Adrian Rodriguez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Scurry-Rosser's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Peavy, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Scurry-Rosser pushed their record up to 12-13-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Palmer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Scurry-Rosser beat the Bulldogs by a score of 6-1 on Thursday.
