Soccer Game Preview: Saltillo vs. Corinth

The Saltillo Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Corinth Warriors at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Corinth took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Saltillo, who comes in off a win.

Saltillo took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Center Hill, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers won by a goal and slipped past the Mustangs 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Saltillo.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Corinth was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oxford.

Corinth's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Saltillo, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Saltillo skirted past Corinth 2-1 when the teams last played back in November of 2019. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
